"Last year, Fargo spotlighted the new Scandinavian folk scene with the Cowboys in Scandinavia compilation. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues, which is due to be released on the 24th of April 2007, gathers some of the best kept secrets from the female “indie folk” sphere. april: hi...i just got back from touring with crooked fingers and i had a blast. i wanted to thank everyone for coming to the shows and being so supportive. it made it a great experience for me. crooked fingers are a great bunch of folks, and you should check out their new record, "dignity and shame", when you get a chance.
this month, i'm going to be back in the studio to finish up a new record for release sometime this fall....
i'll be playing a show at the 40 watt on wed. 4/27 with local band, hope for agoldensummer and telegram, from atlanta...

in other news, liz is going into andy baker's studio in athens on feb. 15th to make a new record of current songs...vic's coming along again as producer and player, as well as tina chesnutt. look for a fall release later this year... and lastly, liz will be playing at WUOG's "live in the lobby" at 8 p.m. on thursday, february 10th. coming up next month...south by southwest and an east coast tour with crooked fingers...
